NETW191 / COMPLETED ACADEMIC PROJECT
IPv4 Addressing & Network Connectivity
Plan the network. Check the connection.
A networking lab project connecting IPv4 configuration, subnet planning, loopback interfaces, connectivity testing, and network documentation.
DeVry University coursework01 / THE OBJECTIVE
IPv4 Addressing & Network Connectivity
Devices need consistent addressing and a workable network design before they can communicate reliably. The project connected addressing decisions with visible connectivity checks.
02 / THE WORK
My contribution.
- Documented LAN IPv4 changes and dynamic address assignment for two computer virtual machines.
- Prepared a subnetting table for two /25 networks, including usable host ranges and broadcast addresses.
- Configured loopback interfaces and recorded connectivity tests from the lab machines.
- Created a Visio network diagram and examined SOHO wireless configuration options in an educational setting.

03 / PROJECT EVIDENCE
What the work produced.
A completed lab presentation with configuration screenshots, a subnetting table, ping results, and a network diagram.
Evidence reviewed: NETW191 final presentation. Source pages 4–16; wireless review on pages 18–19.
04 / WHAT I LEARNED
The reasoning behind the result.
A diagram and an addressing plan make troubleshooting more deliberate: confirm the configuration, identify the intended destination, and test the route.
05 / WHAT THIS DEMONSTRATES
Practical skills in context.
Working through connectivity issues with a documented plan.
Project deliverable: Address planning, virtual-device configuration, connectivity tests, and a Visio diagram.
Status & scope
Completed virtual-network coursework. The examples describe an educational lab; organizational network details and credentials remain private.
Based on the original project presentation, reviewed October 17, 2026. Historical project evidence; not a new execution test.
